About Me

I'm Jim Horn, a web programmer from Surrey, BC, Canada... and aside from doing web design as a career, I also enjoy it enough to do it as a hobby!

This site is an attempt to "try" new technologies before I inflict them on our (TallTech's) customers - less bugs for them = more glory for us! : )

Aside from web design, my hobbies include hiking, my daughters' soccer, cooking, wood working, mechanics and photography - not necessarily in that order. <shameless plug>An excellent resource for hiking that I just wouldn't feel right not telling you about is Club Tread. There you'll find TONS of resources on local trails, parks and other hiking resources.</shameless plug>

GuildfordSharks.com is the site I've created for one of my daughter's soccer team. That site keeps me hopping with updates, photographs and new features. I'd love to do a site for my other daughter's team, but unfortunately, the team changes so much from year to year that a site would be a lost cause. Hopefully that will change in the near future.
